About

100-word introduction

I am a communications technology student with an interest in web design and multimedia. This portfolio collects five project artefacts completed for the course, showing process photos and short statements of intent. Rebuilding the site with Next.js and a matte-glass visual language helped me explore responsive layout, accessibility-first typography, and the polish needed for presentation-ready case studies. I aim to continue blending design and development as I pursue careers in digital communications.

Projects

Final products & process

Project 1 — Unit 1 Logo Design

Statement of Intent: In the unit 1 "Logo Design", I used Inkscape to build layered graphics, experimenting with gradients, geometric balance, and text layout. Iterating on petal silhouettes helped solve an unclear focal point, resulting in a distinctive and expressive final mark.

Project 2 — Unit 1 Symbols and Signs

Statement of Intent: Placeholder. Write 70–80 words outlining fundamental techniques and whether the project solved the intended challenge. Mention tools and scientific or mathematical concepts where relevant.

Project 3 — Photographic Experiment

Statement of Intent: Placeholder. Describe the photographic technique, the camera settings or post-processing used, and reflect on success or issues encountered.

Project 4 — Black and White Photography

Statement of Intent: Placeholder. Replace with your 70–80 word intention statement about photographic choices and outcomes.

Project 5 — Movie Scene Recreation

Statement of Intent: Placeholder. Summarize your process, tools, and whether the scene recreation achieved the intended effect.
